Mindfulness Training Online & Onsite
Our onsite and online mindfulness training courses and workshops fuse ancient philosophies with modern psychology and cutting-edge neuroscience to bring you in-depth knowledge and practical experience for cultivating a lifelong — and life changing — practice of living mindfully. We offer instruction in a variety of mindfulness practices including mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR), pioneered by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Mass.
Our online classes are unique in the mindfulness online learning world; they are live and interactive. You have the benefit of group resonance and group dynamic, the same benefit you get in our onsite classes and you don't get in a standard video class. We also offer individual and group Applied Positive Psychology Coaching, Mindfulness & Resiliency Coaching, and Mindful Sleep Mentoring to support you and your well being.
Jon Kabat-Zinn defines mindfulness as "paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgmentally." Present moment awareness is key to developing greater clarity, helping you to recognize negative patterns of reactivity, conditioned behavior and unproductive thoughts. Our carefully developed onsite and online mindfulness training courses will guide you in cultivating present moment awareness. The techniques employed are secular and compatible with any faith tradition.
Comprehensive Mindfulness Training Services
SMI provides online and in-person mindfulness coaching and mentoring to a limited number of clients each month. Mindfulness coaching offers an opportunity for one-on-one exploration, with a highly trained and experienced professional, of developing and sustaining mindful living.
Our SMIle mindfulness training series for children is offered to schools, after-school programs and community centers, providing educational and leadership training to youth ages 12-18 through cultivation of social-emotional learning, communication and mindfulness skills.
